Photographing children is challenging and inspirational.
Whether I’m photographing toddlers at play, or middle school friends, I take the same approach: allow the children to be themselves. There’s no need to say cheese, no need to force a smile, no need to pose. A child who is completely at ease will take the most natural photograph, every time.
