every session is a gift to our schools.
When you book a session with me, I’ll make a donation to Nashville public schools through an organization called DonorsChoose.
Founded in 2000 by a social studies teacher in New York City, DonorsChoose allows me to make charitable contributions to classroom teachers in Nashville who have submitted specific requests for help. Recent donations I’ve made have supported projects like:
- Providing TI-83 graphing calculators to LEAD Academy in East Nashville
- Suppying 30 writing journals to third grade students at Warner School in Edgefield
- Furnishing a lamp for a poorly lit classroom at Jere Baxter Middle School in Talbot’s Corner
